About the Founder

Ryan S. Bradley, DMSc, PA-C, CAQ-Psychiatry, graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. He later earned a Doctor of Medical Science degree in Psychiatry from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and achieved the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Ryan served in the United States Army for more than 19 years, caring for service members and their families while holding clinical and leadership positions throughout his military career. His experiences in military medicine shaped his belief that effective mental health care should be thorough, practical, compassionate, and individualized to the person—not limited to a diagnosis or medication alone.

He founded Dragonfly Behavioral Health Services to provide patients and families with comprehensive psychiatric care in a setting that feels personal, accessible, and collaborative. His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and executive-function difficulties, trauma-related conditions, behavioral concerns, and complex psychiatric presentations across the lifespan.

Ryan approaches treatment by considering the biological, psychological, developmental, relational, and environmental factors affecting each patient. His goal is to help patients better understand what they are experiencing and develop a treatment plan that supports meaningful, lasting improvement.

My Approach

Mental health concerns rarely exist in isolation. I take time to understand the biological, psychological, developmental, relational, and environmental factors shaping each patient’s experience. Treatment is collaborative, individualized, and designed to address the whole person. It is not simply a diagnosis or collection of symptoms.

Understand Before Treating

A thoughtful assessment begins with listening. I look beyond the immediate complaint to understand patterns in attention, mood, behavior, relationships, health, development, and daily functioning.

Practical, Individualized Care

Treatment may include medication management, psychotherapy, behavioral strategies, testing, neurofeedback, or a combination of approaches. Each plan is built around the patient’s needs, goals, strengths, and real-life circumstances.
